Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta says farewell with Sunday mass ascension

Sunday is the last day of the 2012 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.

There is near perfect weather for the farewell mass ascension, as more than 500 pilots are expected to fly their hot-air balloons into the Albuquerque skyline.

Dawn Patrol went off without a hitch and the morning glow followed after 6:30 a.m.
