If you are retired and live in Albuquerque, U.S. News and World Report thinks you're in the right spot.

The national magazine has named the Duke City one of the top ten places in which to retire for people with $40,000 or year to spend.

The article credits Albuquerque's low housing prices.

The median housing cost for people 60 and older is just over $1,100 a month for those with a mortgage - and $657 a month for renters.

There are also low-cost ways for people to get around town.

For example, people 62 and older can ride the bus for 35 cents.
