The FBI is investigating a bank robbery in Hatch.

The robbery occurred Friday afternoon at the First New Mexico Bank there.

The suspects are described as two Hispanic men in their mid-20's to mid-30's.

They're both between 5 foot 7 in. and 5 foot 9 in. and weigh approximately 150 pounds.

One suspect wore a black short-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, a brown baseball-style cap with a white emblem, and dark shoes.

The other, taller suspect wore a black long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, a black baseball-style cap with a light-colored brim, dark shoes, black gloves and carried a black backpack.

Both used bandana's to cover their faces.

Officials said the men may have driven away in a dark vehicle, possibly a gray sedan.

The FBI is offering a $1,000 award for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the robbers. Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to call the FBI at 505-889-1300.
