There's a freeze warning Friday night for the Albuquerque metro and most of New Mexico.

Temperatures are expected to drop to 28 degrees Fahrenheit from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Subfreezing temperatures can be hazardous for animals. It's recommended people bring animals indoors and cover plants susceptible to cold weather.
