SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) - The state Transportation Department says two rest areas on Interstate 40 in central New Mexico will be closed part of next week for plumbing maintenance.

The eastbound and westbound Rattlesnake Draw rest areas on the interstate between Moriarty and Clines Corners will close Monday.

The agency said it expects the rest areas to re-open by midday Wednesday after the repairs are completed. Moriarty is about 40 miles east of Albuquerque.
