Bernalillo County Clerk Maggie Toulouse Oliver reminds voters that the last day to request an absentee ballot is Thursday, Nov. 1.

Registered voters can print the application on-line at bernco.gov/clerk, complete the form and mail it back or deliver in-person to the Clerk’s office.

Voters with or requesting an absentee ballot are also reminded they need to return their ballots by 7 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 6.

Ballots may be mailed in at a cost of $1.10 postage, or handed in any time to the Clerk’s Office at One Civic Plaza on the 6th Floor or the Clerk’s Office Annex at 620 Lomas NW.

Voters may also hand in their ballots at any My Vote Center on Election Day. As of this morning, the Clerk’s Office has mailed out 37,981 absentee ballots and received back 21,384, leaving approximately 16,600 to be returned by November 6th.

Voters can also call 243-VOTE (8683) to request an application or for more information.
