Rio Rancho police arrest murder suspect

Rio Rancho police have arrested a man in connection with the city's latest homicide.
They tell KOB that Leonard Tidwell, 20, was arrested and charged with an open count of murder in the death of a 51-year old man who lives with him.
The murder is believed to have happened around midnight, when neighbors reported hearing shots near the scene at Tramview Court and Greenview Way Northeast
Police say Tidwell was found in his car down the road, and has been cooperative.
Police said they were alerted to the murder when a woman called 911, saying her boyfriend had killed her mother's boyfriend.
