NM's top two players to put pen to paper on Wednesday

Wednesday is the first day of the fall signing period for high school student athletes. Eldorado's Cullen Neal and La Cueva's Bryce Alford will sign their National Letters of Intent to play college basketball on Wednesday. Neal and Alford are two of the top players in the state, both averaged over 25 points a game last season. Neal will sign with St. Mary's and Alford will play for his dad at the University of New Mexico.
Here's a list of some other expected signings:
UNM volleyball coach believes this year's class will be the best ever in the history of the program. It will include La Cueva's Julia Warren, Cleveland's Cassie House and Tatum's Devanne Sours. All three are ranked in the top 200 high schoolers in the country.
The Albuquerque Baseball Academy will have some players sign D1 letters. Cody Bower (St. Pius), Carson Schneider (Sandia), and Andre Vigil (Volcano Vista) will all sign with the University of New Mexico. Sandia's Jamie Moya will play for New Mexico State. Albuquerque Academy's Tyler Buffett will sign with Oklahoma State. Jacob Garcia from Volcano Vista committed to Northern Colorado.
Cleveland wrestler Paul Mascarenas will sign his LOI with South Dakota State. He is a three-time state champ with a career record of 130-5.
Rio Rancho's Sierra Campbell will become the school's first female golfer to ink a college scholarship. She will play for Midwestern State.
La Cueva's Jasmine Casados will play softball for UNM. Brandi Torr (La Cueva) will commit to Metro State to play volleyball.
