World famous pool player Jeanette Lee got the nickname "Black Widow" because she eats people alive at the pool table. Her list of pool championships and achievements goes back years. Now the "Black Widow" is targeting an Albuquerque company.

Lee has filed a lawsuit claiming she wasn't paid in full for an endorsement deal to sell pool cues and pool accessories. The lawsuit is directed at High Desert Dynamics, LLC, LiquidWick Pool Cues, Richard Gustin and Daniel Shields.

According to the lawsuit, one endorsement contract was completed and Lee's deal was renewed. The lawsuit claimed she would get $100,000 a year. But it said two $25,000 payments were missed, and numerous attempts to get the money were not successful.

Lee's Albuquerque attorney, Alberto Leon, said LiquidWick is still using Lee's image on its website. "That is the crux of our case right there, that this commercial impression is left out there that is completely false," Leon told KOB Eyewitness News 4.

The lawsuit claims a breach of contract among other things. Leon said Lee has severed ties and the company is not authorized to use Lee's name and image. "They have been warned and asked, and we've actually demanded they stop doing that, and they refuse to do so," said Leon.

The lawsuit said Lee is owed $200,000. It is also asking for unspecified punitive damages. KOB went to the address of LiquidWick Pool Cues in Albuquerque. A woman who identified herself as Richard Gustin's mother said she knew nothing of the lawsuit. A phone message to the company for comment has not been returned.
