NM Tourism Dept unveils new mobile site

The New Mexico Tourism Department said Friday it has launched a mobile website that gives people travel, dining and lodging information about the state on their mobile devices.
The mobile www.NewMexico.org site gives visitors access to six buttons - explore, dining and entertainment, events, stay here, trip planning and deals - and has a geolocation feature that will help them find events, restaurants and lodging, the Tourism Department said in a news release.
"Technology plays an increasingly important part of travel planning," said Tourism Secretary Monique Jacobson. "The mobile website enables users to experience everything that New Mexico has to offer right from their phone. This is a great tool that makes connecting that much easier."
