LEWISTON, N.Y. (AP) - Mike Muscala had 24 points and nine rebounds, just missing his fourth straight double-double of the season, as Bucknell pulled away from cold-shooting New Mexico State 62-49 Saturday.

Bucknell (4-0) held the Aggies (1-2) to only 14 field goals and 29.2 percent shooting (14 of 48) in the 2K Sports Classic.

Trailing 8-4 early, the Bison scored 12 unanswered points and led 28-22 at halftime.

Daniel Mullings scored the Aggies' first eight points of the second half to trim the lead to two with 14:19 remaining, but New Mexico State could get no closer.

With the Aggies again threatening at 37-33, Cameron Ayers made three straight jumpers for the Bison, who shot 59.1 percent in the second half (13 of 22).

Bryson Johnson added 11 points and Joe Willman 10 for Bucknell. Mullings led New Mexico State with 22 points on 7-of-16 shooting, making half of his team's field goals.
