Water main break closes part of Alta Vista in Santa Fe

A water main break will keep part of a major Santa Fe street closed through Friday afternoon, city officials say.
Eastbound lanes of Alta Vista will be closed from Cerrillos Road to Pacheco because of a break on Alta Vista.
Work is scheduled to last until mid-afternoon.
Drivers are asked to take alternate routes or expect delays.
