Man crashes car into bagel shop

Part of Central Ave. was shut down after a car crashed into a restaurant.
Eastbound Central was diverted to southbound Stanford.
Police say an elderly man crashed into the side of the Einstein Brothers Bagel shop.
The man broke his neck, but is in stable condition.
No one else was hurt.
Investigators are to determine how it happened.
