The average price of a gallon of gas dropped about 10 cents over the past three weeks.

According to the Lundberg survey, regular is going for $3.37 a gallon on average nationwide.

The average price has dropped 46 cents over the past nine weeks.

Lundberg says supply problems at U.S. refineries have been resolved, and we're in the season of typically lower demand for gasoline.

The survey states those factors make it likely that the prices will continue to drop.

Gas prices in Albuquerque are averaging about 20 cents below the national average.

A gallon of regular is running about $3.16 in the metro area.
