State Police ID woman killed in crash south of Santa Fe

New Mexico State Police have identified a woman killed Sunday night in a crash just south of Santa Fe.
The woman, Dorothy Mullins of Santa Fe, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on I-25, just north of the La Cienaga exit.
Officers arrived on scene to find a 2009 Chevy passenger vehicle had been struck by a 2003 Chevy truck.
Upon further investigation it was discovered that the 2009 Chevy had slid off the roadway due to snow packed and icy road conditions and struck the barrier wall.
The vehicle was disabled and had come to rest in the middle of both northbound lanes of travel facing west.
The driver of the 2003 Chevy truck was also going north and was not able to see the 2009 Chevy and struck it as it was disabled in the middle of the interstate.
The driver and sole occupant of the 2009 Chevy was identified as Mullins, 54.
Northbound lanes of I-25 were closed while officers investigated the crash.
Contributing factors have been identified as snow packed and icy roads.
Neither alcohol nor seatbelts were factors in this crash.
