UPDATE: Pedestrian hit Thursday in front of hospital has died

The pedestrian who was hit Thursday on Central in front of Presbyterian Hospital has died of his injuries, Albuquerque police said.
Central was closed for a time but is now open and traffic is flowing as usual.
The 22-year-old male driver of the Bronco that hit the man has not been cited and does not appear to be at fault, police said.
A preliminary investigation indicates that the pedestrian, a 44-year-old man, stumbled into the roadway for some unknown reason.
