ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - New Mexico was looking at a slowdown in movie and television productions in mid-2012, but the last six months delivered 10 additional projects that both put New Mexico on display and provide economic benefits to the state.

Recent projects include the Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington action film "2 guns" and "American Girl: 203 Girl of the Year" starring Jane Seymour.

The New Mexico Film Office land says the flurry of projects in the second half of 2012 provided with state with a total of about 35 for the year.

That's roughly the same as 2011. The Albuquerque Journal  reports that budgets for the productions range from $1 million to over $80 million.
