What will the new MWC look like?

Earlier this week, San Diego State announced they are staying in the Mountain West instead of bolting for the Big East.  With the addition of San Jose State and Utah State on July 1, 2013, the Mountain West will have 11 all-sport members and 12 football-playing schools.

UNM Vice President for Athletics Paul Krebs said Thursday night on his weekly radio show that the new Mountain West Conference will, "without question", have two divisions.  How the schools are divided in the divisions will be determined in the next week or two.

If you broke it down georgraphically, here's what the Mountain West Conference would look like for the football schools in 2013-2014:

Division 1: Fresno State, Hawaii, Nevada, San Diego State, San Jose State and UNLV

Division 2: Air Force, Boise State, Colorado State, New Mexico, Utah State and Wyoming

Everyone will play eight conference games (5 within your own division and 3 crossover games to be determined).  That being said, you know the league will keep Fresno State and San Jose State together, UNLV and Nevada won't be separated, while Wyoming and Colorado will both be in the same division.  So I would guess the division breakdown above will likely be how they are divided up.
