ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - A candlelight vigil is planned Wednesday and funeral services are scheduled Friday for the family of five slain in southwest Albuquerque over the weekend.

Officials with the Calvary Albuquerque church say members are organizing a candlelight vigil for the Griego family at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

A "Life Celebration Service" for the family is scheduled at the church at 2:30 p.m. Friday.

Greg Griego, a former pastor at the church, his wife, Sarah, and three of their young children were found shot to death in their home Saturday. The couple's 15-year-old son, Nehemiah Griego, has been charged in the case. Bernalillo County sheriff's officials say the teen told them he killed his family because he was angry with his mother. They say he also planned to shoot people randomly at a Wal-Mart and contemplated killing his 12-year-old girlfriend's parents.
