ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - An inmate at the state prison in Los Lunas has died.
The Albuquerque Journal quotes officials as saying that prisoner William Owens was being treated for a serious medical condition.
The cause of death will be determined by the Office of the Medical Investigator.
A year ago, Owens began serving a five-year sentence for drug trafficking, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
