It's obvious Albuquerque boxer Holly Holm is willing to fight WBC welterweight champ Cecilia Braekhus, but like many proposed boxing mega fights, the two sides can't work it out.

Last week the World Boxing Council ordered a fight between undefeated WBC welterweight champ Cecilia Braekhus and 3-division world champion Holly Holm.  24 hours later the Braekhus camp announced a fight with Mia St. John instead.  That bout is scheduled for April 13 in Denmark.

Holm's promoter Lenny Fresquez is not letting it go that easy.  He has requested the World Boxing Association to order its welterweight champ, Braekhus, to fight Holm in a mandatory defense.

"This is an embarassment for our sport," Fresquez said in a released statement.  "Holly Holm is the quess of boxing and she was ready to fight Braekhus."

Stay tuned.
