Man accused in toddler's hit and run death has died

A deadly hit and run case involving a toddler killed in the South Valley is expected to be dismissed.

That’s because the accused driver – Milan Darr – has died.

Ivanna Valenciano, 15 months, was hit after wandering out onto Isleta near Raymac back in September.

Deputies arrested Darr, 71. He died in custody over the weekend.
