Police are on scene of the New Mexico Educator's Credit Union in Albuquerque.

They say they Tasered a suspected bank robber in the parking lot of the credit union near Coors and Sequioa.

James Charles Mollohan, 35, of Albuquerque, was arrested in connection with the robbery.

According to a witness, the suspect leaned over the counter demanding money from the teller, the teller gave him an undisclosed amount of money and then he ran out the door.

We're told the teller called police when she thought she recognized the attempted robber from another robbery incident.

The FBI is handling the investigation. The credit union is shut down pending the investigation.

He's expected to appear in federal court in Albuquerque on Monday.

Police won't say if Mollohan is the same man who robbed several banks in the area this week.
