UPDATE: Man apparently shot in chest Tuesday morning on Central SE

Police say a man walked into a Cricket store at 6900 Central SE on Tuesday morning and reported being shot.
The man, who is in his late 30's, has been transported to the hospital and is now in surgery.
Police say the man was apparently shot in the chest.
They also tell KOB they responded to an earlier 911 call from someone claiming a man had been shot behind the Walgreens at Central and San Mateo.
A police investigation is underway.
