ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Albuquerque's standing on a new list of cities ranked for their suitability to host film productions is down.

MovieMaker Magazine ranks Albuquerque No. 8 on its 2013 list of top 10 cities. That's a steep slide from Albuquerque's No. 1 ranking in 2010 and its second-place standing in 2011 and third place in 2012.

However, city film liaison Ann Lerner says it's a good thing that Albuquerque still places on the magazine's top-10 list.

According to the Albuquerque Journal, MovieMaker considers such factors as cost of living, income levels, housing rates, employment opportunities and overall quality of life.

Other factors include financial incentives, access to talent, ease of shooting and studio space.
