Albuquerque Mayor Richard Berry made his re-election plans official.

Mayor Berry told KOB's Danielle Todesco he will run for his second term.

Saturday morning Berry filed paperwork with the City Clerk and picked up petitions to get his name on the ballot.

Berry said he does not plan to use the city's public financing system to pay for his campaign.

Former Albuquerque public safety officer Pete Dinelli and retired Albuquerque Police Department officer Paul Heh have also announced their intentions to make a run for mayor.
