SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) - A woman ejected from a Santa Fe sports bar for fighting faces charges after police say she returned to the bar at closing time and attacked employees with pepper spray.

The Santa Fe New Mexican reports that 26-year-old Reina Maez was arrested early Sunday morning on battery charges following a series of bizarre events at Stats Sports Bar.

According to a police report, Maez was kicked out of the bar after she got into a fight with another patron.

A restaurant business partner says employees also had refused to continue serving Maez alcohol due to her behavior.

Police say hours later Maez returned to the bar and sprayed a managers and a bartender with a canister of mace.

It was unclear if Maez had an attorney.
