Deputy investigating crash scene is hit by car

A Bernalillo County Sheriff’s deputy is recovering Monday morning after being hit by a car at around 9 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies told KOB that they were investigating a crash at Bridge and La Vega SW when a car drove through the scene and hit the deputy.
That's when the deputies said they heard several gunshots.
Deputies are unsure of who fired the shots, and as of Monday morning, we don’t know whether anyone was hit by bullets.
The injured deputy was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.
