UPDATE: SWAT situation ends without suspect in custody

A SWAT situation near Carnuel came to an end Thursday evening after law enforcement authorities failed to locate their suspect.

The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office told KOB Eyewitness News 4 a man fled after a traffic stop at Route 66 and I-40.

A passenger in the vehicle identified the driver as  Ronnie Jaramillo, 32. Jaramillo has multiple felony warrants for his arrest, and additional warrants will be issued stemming from Thursday's incident.

An exhaustive search was conducted in the area, however, Jaramillo was not located.

Albuquerque Police Department Open Space officers also assisted in the search.

Anyone with information about Jaramillo's whereabouts are asked to call the sheriff's department at 505-798-7000.
