ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Authorities say a Two Grey Hills man has pleaded guilty in a child sex abuse case in New Mexico.

Prosecutors say 21-year-old Erick McDonald entered a plea agreement Monday.

They say McDonald pleaded guilty to abusive sexual contact with a 6-year-old child and a 12-year-old child last Sept. 19 at a residence on the Navajo Nation.

McDonald has been in federal custody since his arrest in October.

He remains detained pending his sentencing hearing, which has yet to be scheduled.

Prosecutors say McDonald faces a maximum sentence of three years in prison for abusing the 12-year-old victim and up to six years of prison for abusing the 6-year-old victim.

They say he also will be required to register as a sex offender.
