SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) - A blood test indicates a woman who was driving the wrong way on Interstate 25 before being involved in a three-vehicle accident had a blood alcohol level more than twice the legal limit.

According to the Santa Fe New Mexican, the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office says 26-year-old Leela Perez's blood-alcohol level was .20.

New Mexico's legal limit is .08. Perez has been charged with causing great bodily harm by vehicle.

Her attorney has said Perez will plead not guilty but was sorry about what happened.

One of the other drivers in the accident was seven months' pregnant. She gave birth by emergency cesarean section after the accident to a boy who was born two months premature.

He remains hospitalized in Albuquerque.
