Motorcycle crash kills man in Las Cruces

Las Cruces Police are investigating a motorcycle crash that killed a man early Thursday morning.
Wayne Andrew “Drew” Jaramillo was pronounced dead shortly after the crash at the intersection of Solano Drive and Kansas Avenue. Jaramillo rode through a stop sign, crashing into a truck that happened to be driven by a friend.
Authorities said Jaramillo and his motorcycle travelled over 100 feet before striking a fence and tree. Jaramillo was treated at the scene before being transported to Mountain View regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
