Woman sent to hospital after crash on I-40 eastbound at 6th (UPDATED)

An accident on I-40 eastbound near 6th Street has resulted in delays for Albuquerque drivers.
The freeway is now open after it was closed after the crash on Thursday afternoon.
According to APD, two vehicles were involved in a collision. A female was ejected from her vehicle and has been rushed to UNMH with apparant serious injuries.
KOB Eyewitness 4 has a crew on the way to the scene and will have more information as it becomes available.
