An online TV show is set to start filming in the Four Corners. It's a trivia show, filled with challenges, even though it sounds like a lot of fun the show has a serious mission.
It's called the Fireball Run, and people in Bloomfield are fired up about it.
Bloomfield was picked among 8 cities in the southwest to be featured on the online series.
"It looks like an economically vibrant region they're starting the river walk environment and I just think it’s a fantastic destination," said Executive Producer, JJ Sanchez
So what is Fireball Run?
Forty teams from across the country will get a chance to travel to eight cities in the southwest in eight days.
The teams will earn points by answering trivia questions from the places they visit, and completing challenges.
It's all for bragging rights, a plastic sign, and a much bigger issue.
Each team is assigned a missing child from their hometown and is in charge of distributing flyers throughout the cities they visit. And they're not just raising awareness. They're bringing these kids home.
"To date the Fireball race to recover missing children has aided in the recovery of 38 missing children," said Sanchez.
It's because of these children, the Fireball Run is called 'the most fun you'll ever have, doing the most important thing you've ever done.'
As a host city, Bloomfield will also get to have a team on the show.
Filming starts in September.
