Balloon Fiesta park was a colorful scene on Sunday.

Except it’s not fall, and there were no signature hot air balloons in the sky.

Instead, thousands of runners were blasted with paint powder during the Color Me Rad charitable run.

More than $8,000 was raised during the event.

Much of the proceeds will go to the One Fund Boston Inc., a charity created by Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Tom Menino to help the people most affected by the tragic events that occurred in Boston this week.

The remaining proceeds will stay with local charity, NMX Sports.
