Does it seem like there is always a new restaurant opening in Albuquerque?

Maybe because there is!

In this week's Best Bites we're running through some that just opened and some that are coming soon.

By the end of May, downtown will have a cozy new cafe called Hartford Square.

It’s located on Broadway and Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.

Their motto: eat well and don't stress.

The food: fresh, local, high quality, dine-in or take-out.

"One of the things I love about downtown is the growers market which is right on 8th and Central. I'm planning to source as much as possible all my ingredients and products I sell in my market from local growers," says owner Sarah Hartford.

Around the corner on Central near I-25, where the old Milton's used to be, a yet-to-be-named eatery is under construction.

It's being brought to you by the owners of Holy Cow which is right across the street.

If you're a fan of Farina Pizzeria, also in EDo, then you'll be glad to know they've expanded to the Heights.

Farina Alto just opened its doors on Montgomery near Juan Tabo.

Another branch out, the folks at Street Food Asia are opening street food market in the UNM area sometime this month.

And another chain is coming to Albuquerque.

According to its website, Texas-based Cheddar's is opening up shop along Pan American.

The opening date is not yet known.
