APD warns partygoers to watch their drinks following assualt reports

Albuquerque police have recently received reports of possible drug induced sexual assaults and it wants to warn people to stay vigilant when out on the town.

Many of those reports have come from the downtown bar scene, APD spokesperson Tasia Martinez said.

Martinez reminded the public to be aware of their surroundings, watch their drinks and never accept drinks from strangers.

Police are currently investigating the assault claims.
