A man, who police say was violently stalking his ex-girlfriend, faced a judge on Saturday.

Court Documents say Kelven Coats broke into his ex-girlfriend’s house and threatened her with a hammer.

In another alleged attack, police say Coats waited for his ex-girlfriend under her stairs with a gun and then dragged her inside and pointed the gun to her head.

She was able to escape.

Coats’ Bond was set at a quarter million dollars after the judge was told about a long history of domestic violence.
