People supporting women’s equality gathered in Tiguex Park in Albuquerque on Sunday.

Tents and displays were set up to portray the equal rights amendment effort in the 1970’s.

Some women who were a part of that movement were also at the park to meet supporters.

The event was aimed at highlighting the strides women have made toward equality and the work that is still ahead.
