University of New Mexico football coach Bob Davie was on 610am for his weekly game wrap up on the radio.  Davie was asked about his quarterback situation.  Cole Gautsche sat out UNM's win over UTEP with concussion-like symptoms.  Backup QB Clayton Mitchem led the Lobos to an overtime win on the road.  Davie said he plans to play both this week against Pittsburgh.

"It's not a Mark Sanchez and Geno Smith kind of deal," said Davie.  "Right now Clayton (Mitchem) is the guy, but that's just because Cole's not back yet.  I'm hoping Cole is back this week and I think we'll play both guys."  Davie said he expects Gautsche to take part in Monday's workout.

"If he (Cole) has no setbacks, he'll be ready to play on Saturday," said Davie.
