Heavy downpours have closed roads across the state.

I-40 between mile marker 277 and 291 is closed due to flooding. Drivers are asked to slow down as they approach mile marker 263 because of water jumping across the interstate.

Highway 91 northbound and southbound near Santa Rosa is closed due to major flooding. Drivers can detour via O'Reily Road and then take Blue Hold Road to get into Santa Rosa.

Highway 419 from mile marker 0 to 47 is also closed east of Las Vegas, N.M.
