A spokesperson with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said police in El Salvador have arrested the final suspect in a 2009 fatal shooting at an Albuquerque Denny's restaurant.
Francisco Melgar-Cabrera was wanted on charges related to the armed robbery and killing of Stephanie Anderson, a cook at the Denny's restaurant location in the city's Westside.
Two other men charged in the crime, Marvin Antonio Aguilar-Lopez and Pablo De Leon Ortiz, were convicted and sentenced to life in prison.
According to the U.S.-El Salvador extradition treaty, it could take up to two months to extradite Melgar-Cabrera to the U.S.
