KOB Eyewitness News 4 told viewers about a car stolen from an Albuquerque man during Saturday’s earlier newscasts.

KOB received a lot of tips and the car has been found.

The owner of the vehicle, Chris Vigil, told KOB that it was found near Coors and Central.

Vigil was told that four suspects were taken into custody.

The car is a 1964 Mercury Parklane and is very special to Vigil.

He says it was his late father’s big project before he died.

Vigil says he stopped at the Autozone at Alemeda and Coors to pick up a battery cable and left the car running due to battery issues.

When he came back outside the car was gone.
