Deputies pursue armed robbery suspect in the North Valley

ALBUQUERQUE -- A lockdown at Alvarado Elementary School ended just after 3 p.m.
According to Albuquerque Public Schools, the school was locked down around 2:25 p.m. while Bernalillo County Sheriff's deputies searched the area for an armed robbery suspect.
The school day was already over, but the lockdown affected Alvarado students in after-school programs.
According to the sheriff's department, North Valley deputies responded to reports of a robbery at 6343 4th St. NW.
Authorities have not yet said whether or not the suspect was caught.
