The hit show "Breaking Bad", filmed right here in Albuquerque, is coming to an end this weekend. The series finale airs on AMC on Sunday. Tonight, Albuquerque is marking the end of the series with a party.
You don't have to be an "A-List" actor or have a VIP pass. All you have to do is just show up.
Vernon's Hidden Valley Steakhouse in Albuquerque's North Valley may not be "Tinseltown", but they're rolling out the red carpet. Owner Michael Baird wanted to celebrate all that Breaking Bad has meant to the people here in Albuquerque.
"It's a nice thing that… to be able to throw a party that kind of celebrates what they've done for Albuquerque. I think it's been a huge impact on the Albuquerque economy," Baird said.
Tonight's party will be hosted by Jesus Jr. He appeared on the first two seasons of the show. Jackamoe Buzzell helped organize the party.
Perhaps the most well-known guest making an appearance tonight is flying in fresh from the Emmy Awards last week.
"We're lucky enough to have RJ Mitte here. Walter White, Jr. So it's the only party that I know of that has a starring cast member, which is awesome for him to come into town to do that," Buzzell said.
They're also expecting a few other Albuquerque-based actors who appeared on the show. One thing's for sure, fans like Buzzell aren't ready for it to be over.
"That would really be something if it was just… leave you with a 'to be continued'," Buzzell said.
Vernon's is having the party tonight because they knew most people will be glued to their TVs on Sunday, watching the show's finale.
