Craig Neal era officially underway for Lobos

The Craig Neal era is officially underway for the New Mexico Lobo men’s basketball team.

New Mexico beat Eastern New Mexico 87-68 in an exhibition game at The Pit on Saturday night.

The Lobos had five players in double figures which include a game high 17 points from center Alex Kirk.

Kendall Williams and Cameron Bairstow added 14, while Cleveland “Pancake” Thomas and newest Lobo Cullen Neal added 10 points of their own.

Kirk added 16 rebounds and four blocks to go along with his point total.

The Lobos will play one final exhibition game against Jamestown on November 6th.
