Farmington man accused of pointing a handgun at motorists

FARMINGTON, N.M. (AP) - A Farmington man has been arrested for allegedly pointing a gun at passing motorists.
    
San Juan County Sheriff's officials say 29-year-old Ernesto Lorenzo Kee Jr. is being held on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
    
Sheriff's deputies and Farmington police were dispatched to the area of Oscar Thomas Park late Tuesday after a man in a hoodie with a gun who appeared to be intoxicated.
    
Authorities located Kee but say he wouldn't acknowledge any of their commands and was walking into traffic.
    
They say Kee was tased twice with a stun gun and taken into custody and a handgun was found in his right hand.
    
There were no reported injuries.
    
Sheriff's officials didn't know Wednesday if Kee has a lawyer yet.
