TOHATCHI, N.M. -- All schools in Tohatchi, N.M., were put on a shelter-in-place order after a body was discovered nearby on Tuesday.
According to Navajo Nation spokesman Rick Abasta, the body was found with apparent stab wounds on the Tohatchi Middle School softball field.
Principal Tammy Summer said no students were involved in the incident.
Navajo Nation Police are leading the investigation. No further information about the victim has been released.
