Eastern New Mexico will be under a Winter Storm Warning and Winter Storm Advisory until 11 p.m. on Thursday night.

Temperatures will take a dive overnight across most of the state, which will increase the risk of ice on roadways and make travel difficult.

Subfreezing temperatures will keep most of northeastern New Mexico extremely cold for the next several days.
