An Albuquerque man woke up to find his truck stolen and theft was all caught on his home surveillance video.

The video shows two men, one is on the lookout, while the other walks up and pops the door lock.

Within 20 seconds the truck was hotwired to drive off.

The incident happened just after midnight at Shane Armstrong’s home near Academy and Wyoming.

Armstrong is a small business owner and says he had around $4,000 worth of tools inside the truck.

“This is a horrible thing to happen to a small business,” Armstrong said. “Everybody is expecting Christmas bonuses.  They're not expecting to have to go out and buy all news tools, so it's a huge hit for us.”

He is hoping that someone will recognize the men on the video or see the truck and call police.

The truck is a white 2007 Ford F-250 with license plate number 2-3-UNM-07.
